A Shocking and Easy Way to Make Over $180,000: Selling Poop

Ever heard the phrase you’re flushing money down the toilet? Well, it may quite literally be true. People with damaged gut microbiomes need quality poop. In this article, you’ll learn more about selling poop and how giving a poop can literally change a life.

Why would someone want to buy poop?

Your first question is probably, “Why in the world would anyone want to buy poop!?” I know it sounds gross, but let’s talk about science for a moment.

Recently, research on the microbiome has grown rapidly, and now we understand that our gut microbiomes contribute to our health and traits as much as our genetics. But unfortunately, many people in modern society have poor health and damaged gut microbiomes. But, the good news is that stool donors can help individuals who need to re-balance their gut microbiome.

Poop transplants

Fecal microbiota transplant (FMT) is collecting poop from healthy donors, then giving it to people with a damaged microbiome. The process is simple: a healthy donor poops into a bag after a screening. Then they ship it, and the donor receives it and administers the FTP via nasoduodenal tube, colonoscope, enema, or capsule to help them balance their microbiome.

What kind of diseases can poop donations help with?

Research shows that FMT treats the deadly gut infection Clostridium Difficile (C. Diff).

New research also shows that FMT can help with metabolic diseases, neuropsychiatric disorders, autoimmune diseases, allergic disorders, and tumors. Case reports of FMT have also shown favorable outcomes in Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, myoclonus dystonia, chronic fatigue syndrome, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, obesity, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, and autism.

How much can you sell poop for?

You can get paid up to $500 per stool donation. So if you poop daily, that can equate to $182,500 a year!

What’s the catch?

If this sounds too good to be true, there is a slight catch: only 0.1% of people are healthy enough to qualify to become stool donors. However, you never know if you’re part of the 0.1% or not, so why not give it a shot?

How can I start selling poop?

Here’s everything you need to know about selling poop.

You can get a $300 sign-up bonus if you use my referral link for the donor screening questionnaire and list “Money Hacking Mama” under “How did you hear about us?”

The basic qualifications for selling poop

To qualify, you need to be in great physical and mental health. On the donor site, they specify that top young athletes under 30 years old are ideal. Children can be donors as well, they just need to have donor consent. Donors should also have minimal antibiotic use.

If you’re ready to see if you qualify, here are the steps:

  1. Go to https://www.humanmicrobes.org/donors
  2. Review the qualifications of a healthy donor
  3. If you feel you (or your children) are good candidates, click on the “stool donor questionnaire” toward the bottom of the page
  4. Take the survey (it takes about 15 minutes) (mention “Money Hacking Mama under “How did you hear about us?” to get a $300 sign-up bonus if you qualify
  5. Wait to see if you’re accepted

If you qualify based on the initial questionnaire, you’ll have to undergo additional screening, including a physical fitness test, before moving on to a blood test and a stool test.

You qualify to sell your poop! Now what?

If you are the lucky few blessed with perfect poop, here’s what the process looks like.

Receiving orders

Once you go through the screening process and are fully approved, you’ll get a list of anonymous donors to send your poop.

Taking perfect poops

Not all of your poop will qualify if you qualify as a donor. Specifically, the perfect poops (aka bristol stool types) for FMT are type three, which are sausage-like but with cracks on its surface; type four, which are like a smooth and soft sausage or snake; or type five, easily passed soft blobs with clear-cut edges (source). When you take a “perfect poop,” you’ll be able to collect it and send it to your donor. If your poop isn’t perfect, you can work to adjust your diet to improve your poop quality and increase your poop donor income.

Collection and packaging

You’ll be responsible for collecting the samples directly into a bag, then shipping them on dry ice to the recipient. According to donor interviews, the process takes about 30-60 minutes, including the time to purchase dry ice and then ship the package using your local UPS or FedEx.

Rescreening

To ensure your stool maintains its quality, you’ll likely be rescreened every 6-12 months.

The Bottom Line on Selling Poop

While it may sound gross, becoming a poop donor can literally help save people’s lives, and it can have impressive financial rewards if you qualify.

Frequently Asked Questions about Selling Poop

Here are some additional frequently asked questions about selling poop.

Isn’t it gross to collect and ship poop?

According to interviews with current donors, it’s not nearly as gross as they thought it would be. Healthy poop isn’t as gross as unhealthy poop, and you can take protective measures like wearing a mask and gloves to make it less disgusting. If you’re a parent, consider changing all those diapers as training and practice for this important job.

Is it time-consuming?

Most donors have found that it takes around 30-60 minutes to ship their samples out. Plus, they can work the shipping into their schedules.

Can you sell poop for money?

If you are a qualified donor and meet the requirements, you can absolutely sell poop for money.

How To Build Passive Income

There’s a quiet misconception about how to build passive income that refuses to die. That the people pulling it off are somehow different. Smarter. Earlier. Braver. Richer. Better positioned. They’re not. Most of them are just… normal. Busy. Slightly skeptical. Often late to the party and unsure if it’ll even work. That’s what makes their stories interesting. Because passive income, when you strip away the hype, isn’t built by superheroes. It’s built by people who decided to stop waiting for perfect conditions and started using what they already had. I know, because that’s exactly how I started. My Passive Income

Why Money Isn’t the Barrier to Passive Income (and What Is)

Let’s clear something about passive income up right away. If you don’t have passive income yet, it’s probably not because you don’t have enough money. That’s the story we tell ourselves because it’s convenient. Money is an easy villain. It lets us delay action without confronting the harder stuff. “I’ll start once I have more cash.”“I just need a little runway.”“I’d do this if money wasn’t so tight.” I believed that too. And it kept me stuck far longer than I care to admit. Because once I actually started building passive income, it became painfully obvious: money was never the

Build Passive Income Even If You’re Broke

Nobody admits this part about building passive income out loud, so I will. Most people who want passive income aren’t lazy. They’re exhausted. They’re mentally juggling daycare costs, groceries that somehow doubled, and a job that pays fine but somehow never feels like enough. They don’t want to be rich-rich. They want room to breathe. And when you’re in that place, most passive income advice sounds… detached from reality. “Just invest.”“Just start a business.”“You just need to outsource.” Cool. With what money? And what time? I didn’t start building passive income because I was inspired. I started because I was
